We fight for our community, and stand in solidarity with communities across the nation's capital, organizing to protect and expand affordable housing.

Brookland Manor currently has 535 units of affordable housing. Developer Mid-City Financial is planning a luxury redevelopment that will triple density on our property while cutting down the overall number of affordable units from 535 to 373, and restricting 200 out of the 373 to seniors only 62 and older. Mid-City Financial has stopped at nothing in its attempts to break up our families and displace us from our community. Read the news section of our website to learn more about their underhanded tactics to push out members of our community.
